Hello, friends. I’m Yanise de Silva (formerly known in media coverage as Yanise Ho).
In my early 20s, I rollerbladed 4,000 miles across America for 7 months with no money, relying entirely on faith in humanity. Optimism runs in my veins, and I believe kindness is an innate force within us all. Through my writing, I hope to share positivity and invite reflection and empathy as small but powerful ways to make the world a better place.
I am currently based on the tropical island of Sri Lanka in South Asia, where I live with my husband.
